Your holiday home rental includes: Accommodation, including services e.g. water, and electricity, linen and towels (but NOT beach/pool towels), use of the communal pool in accordance with the community byelaws.
NOT included in the prices: Flights, Car Hire, Holiday Insurance.
a) Deposit: to confirm a booking, a deposit of 25% of the quoted rental price for the period is required, along with a completed and signed hard copy booking form. Upon clearance of your cheque or other payment method the booking will be confirmed. You must check the confirmation and final invoice carefully and raise any queries within 10 days of the invoice date. No further reminder in respect of the final payment will be sent.
b) The balance of the rental fee is due not later than 10 weeks prior to the commencement of the rental period. We reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled if the balance is not received by the due date. In the event of a cheque not being honoured by the bank on which it is drawn we will make a charge of £10 to cover our administration costs.
c) Payment may be made by i) Cheque in sterling drawn on a UK bank, which should be made payable to A & E Gillam. ii) Cheque payment is also accepted in Euros and should also be made payable to A & E Gillam.
e) Cancellation: In the event that you cancel your booking for any reason whatsoever, the following charges will apply; Up to 10 weeks to departure = Deposit only; 4 - 9 weeks prior to departure = 50% of the full rental cost; Within 4 weeks of departure = 100% of full rental cost.
f) Alterations to bookings: If after your booking has been confirmed, you wish to alter your arrangements, we will do what we can to help, but an administration fee of £30 / €50 per booking may be charged.
g) Security Deposit waiver / insurance premium: With the final invoice, you will be charged a refundable Security Deposit of £100/ €150 . This is held against loss or damage occasioned by the use of the property by the parties to this agreement. Subject to no claim being due against this deposit, it will be refunded within 21 days of the conclusion of the rental period.
h) Rental period: The rental period of the property begins at 3pm on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise stated. Failure to vacate the property on time may result in an additional charge being levied against your security deposit for late departure.
i) Sub-letting: The accommodation is reserved exclusively for the people named on the booking form, and no other persons whatsoever are permitted to stay there except by prior agreement of the lessors in writing.
j) Safety: Neither we nor our agents accept any responsibility whatsoever and howsoever caused for injury or damage caused as a result of the use of the apartment or community facilities. Guests are requested to exercise due supervision of children when in the vicinity of pools, balconies etc.
k)Pets and smoking are NOT permitted inside the apartment.
l) Force Majeure: Neither we nor our agents will be liable for loss, injury or delay occasioned by any of the following: strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical / weather problems with transport, aircraft grounding, closure of airports or ports, weather conditions or any other event beyond the control of ourselves or our agents.
